Petty Internet Arguments.

The following exchange occured today on the vast wasteland that is the world wide web. I am really suprised that this person I have never met is so opposed to my artwork...

He posted this public comment on the VVORK.com blog comments section below my work:

I responded to him via Stuart account message system:

Balls On Bartle

These are pictures of a public art piece I completed in 2006 for the city Kansas City, MO's Avenue Of The Arts program. If any of you are in the midwest in the Summer months I reccomend checking out Central Ave. in downtown KC. I utilized existing holes in the Kansas City Convention Center's (AKA Bartle Hall's) facade, filling them with balls similar to those found in children's ball pits.

(*note the R.M. Fischer piece also attached to the building)

Update... Finally

I've been busy in my so called "break" semester at RISD, taking a course in computer programing microcontrollers/physical computing. I also started a course at Brown University with Mark Tribe (of Rhizome.org) this past week. Some of my artwork is up on VVORK.com today; so to anyone linking here from there, welcome, thanks for stopping by. I am usually better about my updates, I just have been having trouble keeping a set schedule for the past month. Skowhegan applications are due tomorrow, I still haven't decided whether or not I want to send them my 45 dollars this year. We have access to the grad studios here in Providence all Summer, so I may just hold off on applying for another year. Spring Open Grad Studios at RISD (a first) are fast approaching; I will have more info on the open studios as it becomes available (Friday March 17th???). More of my work can be seen at the Saatchi Stuart Gallery. I will be posting more work in the next couple months as my semester kicks into high gear.
